In addition to selling roasted beans to wholesale clients like cafes and restaurants, the roastery also sells its products to general consumers on an e-commerce website and at pop-up events. Tatsuya Murai founded HONO in 2010. A former violin craftsperson turned roaster, Murai was once single-mindedly focused on becoming a violin maker.
